Is this an official Microsoft certification course?

No. This course is a private, independently created learning program. It does not offer official Microsoft certification, but it provides real-world skills students will use in school and life.

How is this different from free tutorials online?

This course is structured, project-based, and designed for homeschool learners—with guided practice, templates, and real assignments, not just random tips or walkthroughs.

How long will we have access to the course?

Once enrolled, you’ll have lifetime access, including all current and future updates unless you sign up for the monthly subscription. 

Can I use this course for multiple children?

Yes! Your purchase includes access for your immediate family. If you’re part of a homeschool group or co-op, please contact us for group licensing options.

FAQ

What age or grade level is this course best for?

This course is designed for independent learners from roughly ages 9 to 16 (Grades 4–10). Younger students may participate with support.

Do we need Microsoft Office to take this course?

Yes. Students should have access to Microsoft Office 2016 or later, a Microsoft 365 subscription, or use Google Workspace alternatives (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). We do not provide software access.

Do I need to sit with my child during each lesson?

No. The course is designed to be self-paced and student-led. Most students can navigate the lessons on their own, though younger learners may benefit from light guidance at the beginning.

Does this course count for school credit?

While we do not issue official credit, many homeschool families use this as part of their technology or elective curriculum. We recommend logging hours and completed work for portfolio use.
